Yulia Timur is an artist ,prose writer and poet. She was born in Moscow in 1969. She has lived in Turkey for the past twenty years. Her works has appeared in magazines sush as Medved, Koltso A, Kazan, Textura, Sverchok as well as in various omline publication. She is the author of eight books Zimorodok, İslands of Childhood, Over the cup of turkish coffe, Under the Shade of platan tree...

She is a praze winner in the Yesenin İnternational Literary contest (2018). She also won second place in the İmage of Crimea international contest (2019) for a series of watercolor painting.

Her watercolor exhibition was held at the KEMER Local History Museums in 2024
